Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Cornect (“Cornect,” “we,” “us”), a company based in Hong Kong, and govern your access to and use of the Cornect website, web application, API, and related tools (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Cornect is a B2B company-search and go-to-market data platform. It lets users search and organize information about businesses — including company names, domains, locations, employee-count ranges, industries, technologies, and similar companies — and create lists, saved searches, and exports. The business data is compiled from third-party data providers and publicly available sources.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• Scrape, bulk-download, or otherwise extract data through means that circumvent the Service’s intended interfaces, rate limits, or credit system;
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data or the Service except as expressly permitted by us in writing;
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
• Use the Service or data in a way that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable privacy, anti-spam, or marketing laws.

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Certain actions — such as exports — consume credits, and credits may be included with a paid plan or granted to your workspace. Plans and credit allowances are described at the point of purchase or sign-up.

Free trials, where offered, may include a limited credit allowance and may expire; on expiry, unused trial-granted credits may be removed and the plan may revert to a free tier. Fees, where applicable, are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plans, pricing, or credit policies on a prospective basis.

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding the underlying business data and your own content), is owned by Cornect or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain rights to content you create within the Service, such as your lists and saved searches.

The business and company data made available through the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is compiled from third-party and publicly available sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for a particular purpose of any data, and you are responsible for verifying data before relying on it. You are also responsible for using the data in compliance with all applicable laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cornect and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual-property terms) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong [to be confirmed by legal counsel], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Hong Kong will have jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
